FIXES AND TWEAKS:
* Blurry icon fix for players with ATI Radeon 6950 Mobile GPUs where the map and control icons would be super blurry

* Fixed camo decals for the Grizzly (aka Bear) so the underlying paint once again changes the camo color

hey, I just installed beta15.. but the “cheat in the cheats” don’t work
i don’t know why. everything else but Cheats and the police uniform seems to be working, haven’t tried everything yet, b’cus it kinda bother me that the cheats won’t work, hope you find the problem
Are you sure you used #1337 for the cheats? I tested it and it works fine.
The police uniform is only available with the pricing open mod, so you need to make sure that’s installed when you build. It’s on sale at Let’s Pretend.
EDIT:
I did a quick test just in case and confirmed again that both of those are working perfectly. I also received feedback from a couple people saying they were working as well. This might be a dumb question, but you did manually move your newly built patch file to your sr2 install folder after building it, right? For some reason, a lot of people forget to do that.

Re: “Fuck You Say?” logo
Did some testing. Prerequisits – a saved game with a track jacket that has the FYS logo stored in the wardrobe.
1st build with various optional mods on/off + one custom mod that swaps clothing slots for a particular piece. Jacket in the shops shows the default SU logo, same for the jacket in the wardrobe.
2nd build – same, but w/out the custom mod. jacket in the shop has SU, the one in the wardrobe has FYS.
3rd build – vanilla gotr. Same as the 2nd build.
I believe if I go shopping wearing the FSY jacket, the one in the shop will have it as well, instead of the SU (happened in my earlier test).
Damn that was weird.
Also, question (can’t remember seeing it discussed): is it possible to remove the notifications regarding your stash and changing clothes? While a minor annoyance by itself, it’s not exactly stimulating to see it popping up every fifteen minutes. Awkwardness ensues.

Hey Idolninja, just downloaded this and although my game was working fine before, after installing this latest release the game crashes on startup. I tried deleting settings.dat and disabling sound enhancements but no luck. It was working just fine before!

Idol, i got a problem the mod dose not like lan for sum reason just wondering if it was me or the mod once the mod is installed and hit lanplay it CTD, but if i take the mod out and do it normal i have no problem.

the new one i install it and works fine solo but when i hit lan just CTDs me all the time

Hey man, I just wanted to say thank you for making such a phenomenal mod, it completely changed SR, not to mention made it overall smoother to play. You guys did an awesome job and I look forward to see what’s coming out. You took my favorite game and made it better, a feat that Volition should be impressed by. If I had any ideas I thought of one but I’m not sure how hard it would be to implement. I was thinking it would be cool, and optional so not to annoy people if you had like an action cam mod, where maybe the screen jerked slightly when you shot the gun (like in the movies) or maybe a gentle shake when you’re speeding to add a dimension to it. Other than that, I can’t really think of anything cuz you guys added everything I thought would make it better. Thanks for your time!

How to install only hudless from GOTR? I have your last version and liked it, but i want to do movie about sr 2 and need to turn off interface.

It’s in the first menu (Controls and Onscreen Prompts.) It’s the very last option (5. Hudless -Remove the HUD in-game for screenshotting)

Install what without GotR? Those optional mods? No. They are designed to work along with the base version of GotR and the installer batch file. There is no way to install them without him learning how to use the modding tools himself and building his own version.

STEP 1. Double click OK
STEP 2. Select your mods to install from the list by typing in the number and pressing Enter. Doing so will add an ‘I’ to the mod to let you know you’ve selected it for install. Selecting the mod again will toggle the selection off. Some of the choices have submenus with many additional options like the Gang Types and Character Customization. WHAT!?
STEP 3. When you are satisified that all your desired mods have been selected, press P to build your new patch file. This will create a new patch.vpp_pc, preload.tbl, and preload_anim.tbl file for you in the MY_CUSTOM_PATCH folder. OK
STEP 4. Move these 3 files to your SR2 install directory (where sr2_pc.exe resides) and replace the existing files. You can usually find this directory wherever you installed Steam:
..\steam\steamapps\common\saints row 2\ OK

The included readme has details what each of those mods are. If you’re confused then just try them out and see. For example, the Gang Type mods changes that particular gang to different npcs. The character ones lets you do different things like make your character super fat or super skinny. It’s all in the readme.
