Phillips Building Progress and Triggers

The Phillips Building crib is finished after resolving some some serious crashing issues related to having too many coordinate entries in the loaded cts files. This crashing was a direct result of all of the new things that have been added to GotR like garages, stores, crib utilities, etc. Luckily I was able to find and delete about 25 unused coordinate entries for cut activities and the train stations which didn’t make it into the final game. By removing these unused entries, it allowed me to add the additional ones needed for all three of the new cribs (barely.)

I was also able to finally figure out how to disable triggers in the lua so that the teleporters and crib utilities don’t show up in the cutscenes and missions. This has been a major headache that prevented us from adding teleporters due to the problems it would introduce for missions. This success tonight also means I won’t have to move the crib icons off map since people can buy them at any time and it won’t interfere with missions!

I should have some pics up soon with the new Phillips Building crib in action. The helipad up on top of the tower looks really cool!  :D
