I spent most of tonight putting together a batch installer for the upcoming Gentlemen of Steelport v1 beta 1. It’s now correctly building asm files dynamically based on menu option selections, and is almost ready for release.
The installer should give the player a lot of advanced control over what is included in a personal build of the mod, as well as an easy preconfigured build option for standardized coop. I should also note that creating this batch installer is merely a stepping stone towards an actual Windows/GUI mod manager.
Good to see a complication Batch is coming out!
I’ve been unable to install those MOD with .asm
they always crash in Cellphone screen and garage screen
I own the gibbed tool, but don’t know what to do with ASM.
So far I only succecced with bonus cars Customization.
by the way,
the “access Crib” areas are too large
It’s annoying opening the door and enter the Crib screen.
I wonder that is changable or not
Yeah they really dropped on the ball on the SRTT Cribs. They are awful. And you don’t have specific waypoints for whatever you want to do, they just decided to not bother with having a waypoint for wardrobe, a waypoint for weapons, a radio so as to not force you to listen the same stuff, and a waypoint for gang customization. They just threw them all together in a big PRESS E TO DO EVERYTHING…
I’m sure that somewhere along the road IN and the team will be able to figure out a way to make cribs work like they worked in SR2, with specific waypoints and everything. But don’t hold your breath because that might take quite a few months.
@Rita
Very true. Those kinds of additions to SR2 took years to finally get working. Understanding and modding SRTT is still very much in its infancy.
Is the site down?
@Jon
The hard drive in mini’s server died and he’s working on rebuilding it.
