Steelport Gangs Pack DLC Next

The Steam database was just updated with the Steelport Gangs Pack DLC. This coincides with statements made by Volition on their forum that a new DLC would be releasing on 5/1. You can check out actual pics of the gang outfits in a previous post.

In other news, rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. I am very much alive and still working on the next GoS. It’s taking a bit longer than I anticipated since I’m also creating a gui frontend. As previously mentioned, I’m also doing a complete rewrite of how it builds the mods. I think it will be worth the wait since it will give the player much more flexibility in what options they want to use.

I’ve posted an overview of the upcoming menu choices for GoS b3 that shows some of the new planned additions. I’ve also laid out my plans for the upcoming scripting changes that will give GoS users even more flexibility with what mods and features are installed during the build process. This includes the ability to toggle on and off specific features within mod packs or even combine all of them together (like all the different weapon mods.)

Mission Replay Update

Released an updated version 8 of mission replay that includes the following additions and fixes:

* Added Trouble with Clones replays
* Fixed deckers.die mission so that the radio doesn’t come on when driving the tank in the overhead combat section
* Fixed the Zimos cutscene replay with the correct title; Painting a Picture
* Moved 3 Count Beatdown replay below Remote chance replay to fix story order
* Added alt version that removes forced wardrobe changes for all replays

I’m also working on integrating my new updates and a bunch of other community fixes and mods into the next release of Gentlemen of Steelport which should be out soon.

Tutorial Disable v3 and other stuff

Found a handy little function that disables all tutorial popups and updated the mod to version 3. This has fixed all known issues like the missing garage and Escort activity prompts.

I’ve also been busy working on a special project with turk that will give the players tons of awesome features they can toggle in realtime, very similar to GTAIV’s simple trainer. More news on that soon.
