Encogen whipped up a nice wooden bat weapon icon and I integrated it into the tilesheet and setup the new xy entry for it. Turned out pretty nice for a quickie job!

Looks like I missed a couple of small things for the optional mods which are now corrected in an updated build of v1.9 14a. Thanks to Zerosaiko for letting me know right away about the shells issue with the optional weapon mods.

Gentlemen of the Row v1.9 BETA 14

Gentlemen of the Row v1.9 BETA 14 is out and ready for download. In addition to the fixes I mentioned yesterday, I’ve also added the following:

Optional nude mod by IdolNinja
Removes the pixelation censor bars for all you deviant sickos. Now please shut up about it and stop emailing me asking to see videogame boobs. :P

Optional Chunk Mod by IdolNinja
Swaps in the Heritage Festival from rn11 “One Man’s Junk,” the Prison Riot from ss02 “File in the Cake,” and Brotherhood Cargo ship from bh09 “The Enemy of my Enemy”

Pimpcane shell fix by Zerosaiko
Fixes the Pimpcane so it no longer ejects shells when firing, and only does so on reload (where it dumps the used shells onto the floor.)

This should take care of all the issues that were reported while I was out of the loop, and also add some new stuff to play with. I’m considering this a warm up for the final step of finishing the Send in the Clones mission and doing final testing.

Back in Action

I spent some time tonight fixing a bunch of bugs in GotR that were reported while I was out of commission with my broken ankle. It felt good to be back in action.  Here’s a list of what I knocked out tonight:

Fixed an issue where certain archival software would not recognize empty folders and extract the mod incorrectly.

Added details on all optional mods and their compatibility to the Readme.

Removed the Crowd Control suit for sale from Impressions since it’s an unlock (it still is for sale in the OPEN version)

Removed the restrictions on short chain flat 2 so it can now be worn with a coat

Fixed UFO interaction so that the player once again beams up into it (it was broken back in beta 11)

Fixed Villain Homie Pack issue where Julius would never show up when called.

Septic truck moved to Volition Gift Shop and price raised to $500,000 since it’s an unlock

Slightly increased the explosion radius for the grenade and the molotov
